Program Description

Welcome to the Land Surveying/GIS/Civil Engineering Technology program, the only one of its kind in Nebraska. Our four-semester program provides a well-rounded education in GPS technology, Aerial surveying with drones (UAV), Land Development, Civil Drafting and Design, and GIS technology. Students have the opportunity to earn certifications such as the Part 107 Remote Pilots License and the Level 1 Certified Concrete Inspector Certificate. You can also choose to take the Fundamentals of Surveying exam, a significant step towards professional licensure. This program is your gateway to a successful career as a land surveyor, civil engineering technician, civil designer, or construction material inspector.
